2016 Ford Explorer Toronto is a perfect family-friendly SUV and if you’re looking for a car with three row seats, generous space and plenty of off-roading power then the 2016 Explorer is simply the best.

 

Body Design

 

It is a big-size three-row crossover SUV available in Base, XLT, Limited, Sport and Platinum trims. Standard equipment available in the Explorer is LED lighting, fog lights, body-color door handles, power drive front seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and exclusive packages like Equipment Group 201A and 301A packages.

 

Cargos space available in 2016 Ford Explorer is 81.7 cubic feet but the deep well created with all seats in place is also very useful for carrying items like backpacks and ice box. Explorer comes with permanent second row bench seats and flexible captain’s chairs. Advantage of captain’s chairs is that they are removable.

 

 

Engine

 

Base, XLT, and Limited models pack 3.5L V6 engine rated at 290 hp and 255 pound-feet torque. Also you’ll get a choice between standard FWD or AWD with hill-descent control and Ford’s Terrain Management System. V6 delivers 20 mpg combined on FWD and drops to 19 mpg combined on AWD.

 

A turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder with 270 hp and 300 lb-ft torque is made optional on Base, XLT and Limited trims. It comes with a six-speed auto transmission as standard and it also has options of FWD and AWD. Its economy rises to 22 mpg combined on FWD and 21 mpg combined on AWD.

 

Sport and Platinum trims come with a turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine that makes 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. For V6, a six-speed auto transmission and AWD is made standard. Its mileage is only 18 mpg combined but it can tow up to 5000 pounds and can reach 60 mph in only 6.3 seconds.

2015 Ford Fusion

 

Design

 

This four-door and five-passenger midsize sedan comes in S, SE and Titanium models where S is the base trim and Titanium is the top model. Design features of Fusion are alloy wheels, automatic headlights, power drive seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and voice activated Sync audio system, 60/40 split folding rear seat and exclusive packages like Appearance Package. Trunk space available in Fusion is 16 cubic feet only but it is sufficient to accommodate belongings of a small family.

 

Engine

 

Fusion S comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 175 hp and 175 pound-feet of torque. It is a FWD and a six-speed auto transmission is used to send power to the wheels.

 

SE provides three more engine options in addition to the 2.5L engine. SE is available with 1.6L four-cylinder engine but this model was discontinued later in the year. Second engine option is a 1.5L four-cylinder with 181 hp and 185 lb-ft torque. Six-speed auto transmission is used for the 1.5L engine. Third option a turbocharged 2L four-cylinder 240 hp and 270 lb-ft torque engine. Six-speed auto transmission with paddle shifters is used for the turbocharged engine.

 

Fusion Titanium comes only with turbocharged 2L engine.
